Answered Prayer

And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him. 1 John 5:14-15

Prayer Outcomes & Follow-ups

March 2024 RTP Updates

Here at Crystal Women’s Clinic, we seek to thoughtfully follow up with each woman who walks in our doors. Some don’t respond to our efforts, or they request that we don’t contact them. Others are very grateful for our ongoing attempts for care and support, whether they have decided to parent or even if they are still in the decision-making process. All names used for the actual RTP texts as well as in this list are an “alias” in order to protect and respect privacy.

We are so grateful to report that the following women have CHOSEN LIFE! Join us in PRAISING GOD for these women and the life choices they have made! Continue to pray for these women as they navigate motherhood, and that they receive all of the support and resources they need.

  • Joan was highly considering abortion as she felt that it would be selfish to raise a child that she felt she couldn’t provide for. Joan was receiving support from her family to parent, yet her work, school and financial concerns still weighed on her. Joan was very moved to see her baby on ultrasound and couldn’t believe that she could see a full baby. Before she left, it was clear she needed time to process and work through her options. Joan was open to hearing about maternity homes, as she felt that this could help support her in preparing for a baby and getting her life in order. When she returned to our clinic, she shared that she plans to parent and was very interested in receiving any support resources she could get! Joan is in process of meeting with maternity homes and is working hard to support her and her baby.
  • Beth came to our clinic feeling undecided, as she has health issues and didn’t want to be pregnant at this time. Beth was very torn, as she didn’t believe in abortion. During her ultrasound, it was revealed that Beth was further along in her pregnancy, which proved to her that she CAN carry despite some issues with health. Beth was happy seeing her baby and plans to start prenatal care right away. Beth is feeling good about her pregnancy and is currently in our Pathway to Parenting classes!
  • Due to years of homelessness and many other contributing factors, “Gracie” frantically shared with us that abortion was the only option she was considering for her pregnancy. Gracie nervously walked us through her many struggles and concerns about raising a child, some of them being lack of support, financial security, transportation issues, and emotionally not feeling ready for such a change. Gracie wanted to have a child when she felt she could truly provide in the ways that her baby deserves. During her ultrasound, it was revealed that Gracie was well into her second trimester. This was very overwhelming, and led her mind to race over questions on how she could obtain an abortion at this stage and at what cost. Before she left, Gracie was open to learning more about adoption and discuss how this option may be a good fit for her. Gracie returned to our clinic and said that she decided not to pursue an out of state abortion, and that adoption is her plan. Gracie is in the process of meeting with adoption agencies. Pray that she finds a family that she feels so at peace with, pray for courage!
  • Linda and her partner felt undecided, depending on how far along she was. Linda expressed concerns for telling parents and was overwhelmed with making a decision. Linda’s partner offered his support for her in whatever she decided. Upon their return for another appointment with us, Linda shared that after talking to her partner, they decided they wanted to parent and felt excited for what’s to come.
  • Finishing up her final semester of grad school while being a mom, Lynn was seeking an abortion. She expressed her frustration as she was about to finish school, and already had children to care for. During her ultrasound, Lynn expressed joy at seeing her baby and later shared that she wants to keep her baby. Lynn said she would talk with her mom and family to make a plan. Pray for support and encouragement in this busy season!
  • Please join us in praying for Julia, Leanne, Nadia, Katie, Gwen, Rose, Rachel, Roselina, Bev, Bella, Lucy, and Chrissy, as these women have chosen to abort or we have lost touch with them.

There are so many different situations that pressure these women to abort, whether it be health issues, financial burdens, job loss, family circumstances, & lack of relational support. Others feel determined to abort as they have many dreams and goals in life that they are working towards and feel that a child would hinder their plans.

For whatever reason it is that pushes them to choose abortion, pray that they may come to encounter God’s mercy and truth in their lives. Pray that through this difficult decision they have made it allows them to grow in an awareness of the sanctity of all life!

We can’t thank you all enough for your persistent prayers for our staff and the women that we serve. Every day we witness the miracle of your prayers and are so grateful to walk with you in this ministry.

God Bless!
